Tours
Kayak tours are available daily in the summer season and by request the remainder of the year. Not all tours are operated daily. Tours are weather dependant and routes may vary as a result. Minimum numbers are required for all tours. To avoid disappointment reservations are recommended.
National Park Discover Tour 4 hrs $100 (per person)
Our most popular kayak tour! Tour the beautiful nearby islets of the Gulf Islands National Park and experience some of the highest concentrations of wildlife in the area including Harbour Seals, Sea Lions (seasonal), Bald Eagles, Otters, Starfish and more. View spectacular wave carved sand-stone.
Start with a 20 min orientation/instruction session followed by apprx. 2 hours on the water. This tour is the perfect length (based on guest feedback) for a morning or afternoon tour and is suitable for all levels including beginners.
Evening (Sunset) Tour 2 hrs $50 (per person)
A great activity before or after dinner! Participants often experience calm seas, little boat traffic, abundant wildlife and spectacular sunsets.
This tour is suitable for all skill levels including beginners.
National Park Explorer Tour 4 hrs $100 (per person)
If you are slightly more adventurous and want to see more of the Gulf Islands National Park Reserve then the 4 hr National Park Explorer Tour is the one for you. On this tour we explore the nearby islets of the Gulf Islands National Park where we experience some of the highest concentrations of wildlife in the region including Harbour Seals, Sea Lions (seasonal), Bald Eagles, Otters, Starfish and more. Then we transit Boat Passage a narrow gap between Saturna and Samuel Islands into Winter Cove. We stop at Winter Cove for a rest. We return through scenic passages between the islands to our starting point.
This tour starts with a 20 min orientation/instructional session followed by 1.5 hours to 2 hrs of kayaking to our rest stop at Winter Cove. Washroom facilities are available at Winter Cove. The return trip is approx 1.5 hrs of kayaking. This trip is often done in reverse to take advantage of current and weather conditions. Paddling time for the reverse itinerary is similar.
Family Tour 2.0 hrs $50/adults, $30/Youth 9-12, $20 Children 8 & under (per person)

Sea Lion/Seal Tour 3 hrs $75 (per person)
Take a special guided tour to the Sea Lion “haul out” on the nearby Belle Chain Islets of the Gulf Islands National Park Reserve. From October through May of each year Stellar and California Sea Lions inhabit this rocky domain. View from a safe distance these massive marine mammals in their natural habitat.
Mayne Island Wine & Cheese Picnic Guided Tour 5 hrs $125 (per person)
Combine an exciting sea kayaking adventure with a wine tasting picnic.
Low Tide Tour 2 hours $50 plus tax
Join us for an interesting tour through the nearby islets with a focus on the spectacular intertidal life exposed at low tides. Our guides can help you identify the various starfish, seaweeds and other creatures only seen at low tide. No doubt a curious Harbour Seal or perching Bald Eagle will be spotted along the way.
This tour is suitable for all skill levels including beginners.
