Group Kayak Transfers

Why take the ferry when you can travel by kayak to your next Gulf Island stopover. Mayne Island Kayaking can offer your group a unique – one-way transfer to Saturna or Pender Island. For groups with no support vehicle we can arrange for your luggage to be transferred by water taxi to your next destination.

School Group Day trip to Mayne Island

Mayne Island Kayaking offers a 3-hour sea kayaking experience in the Gulf Islands National Park Reserve for youth in grades 7 to 12.

Mayne Island is a scenic 50-minute ferry ride on BC Ferries from Swartz Bay on Vancouver Island or 90 minutes from Tsawassen on the mainland. School groups can depart either location in the mid- morning, participate in an exciting sea kayaking experience in protected waters up to 3 hrs in length in the afternoon and return by late afternoon or early evening.

Our school group program includes, all equipment, instruction, certified guides, and transportation to and from the ferry terminal.

Rates : $25 plus tax per participant
