Kayaking for Kids 3, 75 minute sessions $49

Mayne Island Kayaking offers a fun introduction to sea kayaking for boys and girls 8-12 yrs and youth 13-15yrs. Participants learn introductory skills through games and activities. In the last session participants have the option to practice wet exits and rescue techniques. Sessions are held in protected waters and safety is emphasized. A Level 2 program is available for previous participants. Programs run weekly in July and August on Tues, Wed, and Thurs. mornings. Spring programs are also offered. School Group Day trip to Mayne Island

Mayne Island Kayaking offers a 3 hour sea kayaking experience in the Gulf Islands National Park Reseve for youth in grades 7 to 12.
Mayne Island is a scenic 50 minute ferry ride on BC Ferries from Swartz Bay on Vancouver Island or 90 minutes from Tsawassen on the mainland. School groups can depart either location in the mid- morning, participate in an exciting sea kayaking experience in protected waters up to 3 hrs in length in the afternoon and return by late afternoon or early evening.

Our school group program incudes, all equipment, instruction, certified guides, and transportation to and from the ferry terminal.

Rates : $28 plus tax per participant
